Tammy Serrano

is an educator who has been employed in the higher education sector since 2003. She holds an MBA in Strategic Leadership.  It is her desire to help provide an inclusive, nurturing learning environment where students not only gain the course knowledge and objectives, but also build on their interpersonal and social skills. She served as a board member for a cancer foundation for 11 years.  She currently serves as a student club advisor, and as a mentor for the Take Stock in Children Scholarship Program.  She believes that serving is one of the greatest investments we can offer our community.  She actively volunteers with different organizations and promotes volunteerism through her student club.  In her spare time, she loves to spend time with her family, traveling and making memories. Nearly a decade ago, she was introduced to yoga by Cheech.  She has been practicing yoga and leading her students to it through club events ever since.
